Detailed Explanations Of Exactly How Sharp Shooters Are Able To Provide Each Of Their Stated Advantages

Weatherproof
Sharp Shooters use a string thats a tightly woven blend of Nylon/Polyester that does not stretch, even when wet. On the other hand hockey shooters/strings are made from a loosely woven cotton lace that constantly stretch over time and stretch tremendously when wet, requiring constant maintenance to keep the desired tension.  This is a big factor because lacrosse is played in the rain, barring lightning. In these games, as everyone knows, the players shooting strings get wet, stretch, and cause the stick to throw differently. Rain games are generally more sloppy, plagued with passes and shots that are not are not exactly on their mark. Since the Sharp Shooter shooting strings are weather-proof, they allow the stick to throw normally even in the rain, giving the team/players using the Sharp Shooter a decisive advantage over those not.

Easier to Adjust/Eliminates Knots
Sharpshooters design eliminates the tying and untying of double and triple knots by utilizing a an oval plastic Tension Device. Instead of tying knots to secure the string tension you simply lace both ends of the string up through the left slot, down through the middle slot, and then back up through the right slot, thats all. Then adjust the tension to your personal liking. If maintenance is needed, it is far easier to adjust the strings by unlacing them from the tension device than having to deal with the untying of triple knots.

Locks In Tension
After adjusting the tension to your exact liking you are able to Lock It In so that you don't have to worry about having your game thrown off  due to knots coming undone. To do this all you have to do is lace both string ends back through the middle slot of the oval plastic tension device. This method prevents the string from gradually slipping and stretching over time, eliminating the need for constant maintenance of the shooting strings.

Easier to Apply
To apply the Sharp Shooter you simply lay the string across the front of the pocket in the desired location, wrap the string around the sidewall lace and bring it back across the back of the pocket. the strings are then secured by lacing them through the plastic clasp. Then the rubber string cover is placed over the string in the front of the pocket and the flaps are folded through the mesh and connected in the back. That's it.

Added Grip and Spin
The Rubber String-Cover creates the most Game Changing Benefits for Sharp Shooters and it does so because of the fact that the lacrosse ball is also made out of rubber. So when either shooting or passing, the ball rolls over these rubber string covers while on its way out of the sticks pocket, creating Rubber-on-Rubber friction. This Rubber-on-Rubber friction adds much more grip and spin to the ball, giving the player far better feel of the ball releasing from the pocket, and the added spin adds a new dimension to the sport. One analogy is the old wooden ping-pong paddles compared to the new rubber padded paddles.
The rubber paddles allow the player to add more grip and spin to the ball than was ever possible before. We have already received reports from players using Sharp Shooter Shooting Strings stating that when they shot overhand using a similar motion as a baseball pitcher throwing a curveball, the added spin puts motion on the ball, causing it to move erratically as opposed to a straight line. Who knows what could be possible, maybe a curveball?

Increased Velocity
The added grip on the ball allows the player to hold the ball on his shooting strings far better while performing a crank shot. This enables him to put more "whip" or "sling" into the shot therefore increasing the shots velocity. Also adding to the increase in shot velocity is the added spin of the ball in motion. When spin is increased on an object in motion, the objects velocity is increased.
