- Here are the instructions along with corresponding pictures to help you install your Sharp Shooter Shooting Strings step by step.
- You must first make sure that youre using a Standard Mesh Pocket; Sharp Shooter Shooting Strings are specifically designed for use in Standard Mesh Pockets. Here are two pictures showing how the shooting strings look when correctly installed in the pocket.

Some players may choose to trim the Rubber String Cover to better fit some of the more narrow stick heads, like so:
Step 1:
a) Choose the Desired Location within the pocket and Lay the string across the back of the pocket, around the sidewall lace at the end and out to the front of the pocket, back across the front of the pocket, then around the sidewall lace so that both ends of the string are coming out of the back of the pocket.
b) Lace both ends of the string through the tension device (white oval plastic) starting by first going up through the closest end slot, down through the middle slot, then up through the opposite end slot.

Step 2:
a) Lay the Rubber String Cover over the string on the inside (front) of the pocket with the T’s on top and the O’s on bottom.
b) Fold the T and the O flaps over and through the pocket and connect them at the back of the pocket.
Tip: It’s easiest to first put one side/tip of the T through the O, and then pull the rest of it through by this tip. Also, you can slightly pull on the O end to stretch the O, making it bigger and easier to insert the T.
Step 3:
a) Once the Rubber String Cover has been completely installed you should practice throwing so that you can adjust the Tension of the strings (Tighter to throw more Down, Looser to throw more Up).
b) Once you have found the Desired Tension of each string you Lock this tension in place by taking both ends of the string and lace them back Down through the Middle slot.
